PRIVACY POLICY
Last updated: 12 May 2026. This is the boring legal stuff. We've kept it short and tried to use English instead of lawyer.
DATA COLLECTION
We collect only what we need to run the site. That includes anonymous analytics (page views, country, device type), and — for registered users — your email address, display name, and any review ratings or comments you choose to post.
We do not collect or store credit card information. Newsletter subscriptions are opt-in and stored only as email + preferences.
COOKIES
We use a small number of first-party cookies to keep you signed in and to remember your display preferences. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.
You can disable cookies in your browser at any time; some features (login, comment posting) will stop working but the rest of the site remains usable.
THIRD PARTIES
We integrate with a small number of third-party services: an email provider for newsletter delivery, an analytics provider for aggregated traffic data, and CDN providers for asset delivery.
None of these services receive personally identifiable information beyond what is strictly necessary for them to function (e.g., your email for the newsletter provider). We do not sell or share your data with advertisers.
YOUR RIGHTS
You can request a copy of every piece of data we hold on you, request corrections, or request deletion of your account at any time. We will respond within 30 days.
If you are in the EU or UK, this also includes the rights granted by GDPR — to object to processing, restrict processing, and to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.
CONTACT
Privacy questions, deletion requests, or data export requests: privacy@boardgame.guru.
We aim to respond to all privacy enquiries within 7 working days.
